This natural loofah sponge is a plant-based and environmentally friendly, zero-waste staple for your daily bathing routine. Made from the luffa plant. Note that these are grown and processed right here in East Tennessee and there may be some variation in size and color. If you're lucky, you may even find a luffa seed!

Use: This natural loofah sponge can be used in the shower to cleanse and exfoliate the skin, or in the kitchen to scrub dishes clean!

Rinse with clean water after each use and hang it to dry.Β

Disposal: Please compost at end of life. Not recommended for more thanΒ a few months of use on the skin due to dead skin cell buildup in fibers, but can be washed in dishwasher then re-purposed to scrub floors etc! To extend the life, you can also boil to kill bacterial growth.Β

Grown and processed by local farmers in East Tennessee.Β

treat yourself to a better shower

I've used several different exfoliating products, and I love this loofah: it's not as abrasive as others. My skin feels fresh and not overly dry. The fact that it's locally grown and profits go back to my community seals the deal for me!

My review

I love this product. It is a great exfoliator that does not hurt your skin. It holds soap super well and it is biodegradable! The only improvement I would make would be to add a handle but I crocheted on my own.

natural loofah sponge

when you first get a sponge it can be quite rough on the skin, ive been soaking it in boiling water before i use it or massage it with my hands to break down the fibers a little. after you break it in though, i love that it is plant material and renewable

Wonderful & Organic

I loved the fact that the grower of the loofah was also my cashier. You can’t get any more organic than that!

Loofah

I like to use my natural loofahs for a dish scrubbie. They work really well to get the grimy things off. Well worth the purchase as they are biodegradable!
