I agree with the review left by the user Abby on 7/22/21 -- it isn't like a baking soda + vinegar type of reaction but more like a denture cleaner reaction. It is effective at removing stains and dissolves quickly (5-10min). It kept my toilet bowl clean in between uses, just the same as any commercial cleaner. It has a mild, natural and pleasant scent; but is not so perfumed as to have the scent fill the vicinity. My only critique is that because it is a solid you aren't able to apply it in hard to reach areas, and instead have to use a swishing/swirling water method to get the cleaning agent up high.

When it is described as a fizz for the product. And then you can scrub once the fizz is complete. You might find that you almost don’t even notice that it is fizzing. It does. But it is certainly not a volatile reaction to water. The product absolutely gets the job done. And I feel much more safe using this product while pregnant and with animals in my home.
